Default Bottom paint question

So always for great info here regarding our maxum 2800 scr so hoping it’s ok to ask a question on my other boat but basic bottom paint question

2003 key west 2020 center console
Always trailer and garage kept.
I decided to dock it this year on a river off of Lake Erie so fresh water
I’m currently keeping it in the water without bottom paint. Only a 4 month season here. My plan. Was to take it out once a month and use bottom cleaner and powerwasher to keep up with the yuckies.
Question is this.
Without bottom paint do I risk blisters in the gel coat? Any risk of any problems.
It cleaned up just fine after in the water for 5 weeks.
I’d really not bottom paint it but will if there is a risk for serious problems down the road.
Thanks for any advise or tips.
Mark

I would talk with locals to see what they say, the great lakes have zebra mussel issues.
