Default Boat Trailer Fenders

Hi All,
I have a 1992 Maxum 1900. The trailer (I believe made my Escort) has fenders that are starting to rot out. The fenders have carpeted sides (skirts), and do not seem to be standard. Has anyone found suitable replacements for these? Thank you so much!

check with sites like etrailer to find a match for your fenders. There are an endless number of options in both plastic and metal. I think the carpeted sides you refer to are called backing, or back plates. These can be bought separately or integrated with the fender.

I looked around on some of these sites .. not sure if absence of carpet will be an issue seems like it was a fender made just for that trailer

Try Eastern Marine. They have everything.

In the picture there are the 'Bunks' on the bottom which the boat sit on. The image also has some carpeted guides which sit on the sides to help guide you onto the trailer.

Are you talking about these? These are just pressure treated wood covered with exterior carpet.

Thanks Everyone,
The fenders themselves had carpeted backing. Not sure how critical this is to avoid scratching the bottom. I know alot of the new fenders are plastic.
