Hi Paul, I live in Michigan so am familiar with the "elements" as well! I'm not sure if you're looking for a cover just for winter storage or more of a year-round canvas. For winter storage, it's hard to beat a correctly done shrink wrap. If you have a boatyard or marina close by, they could help you with this. If your looking for canvas, there are hundreds of companies selling the "custom fit for your boat" type canvas mooring covers. (Do a search) I've always had my canvas "custom fit" by a local canvas maker. I get a tight fit, snaps instead of straps etc...You may pay a little more, but they are usually pretty competitive. Just my preference. I know a couple of guys that had good luck with Angola Canvas Company out of Angola, Indiana. angolacanvascompany.com
Not a personal endorsement, just for what it's worth. Why the heck are we talking about winter covers now? The boating season is just staring around here!
Good luck.
