What kind are they? I had the same issue and my tach was an oem Faria, which the particular model is no longer produced. If it is a Faria, then they have a limited lifetime warranty and can be repaired by them. They quoted me $30.00 for the tach, the other gauges are cheaper to fix. Downside is they said approximately 4weeks in house turnaround time. Ultimately I decided to purchase a whole new set as all mine were a bit weathered, although still working. Because no one, even Faria, makes the ones I need, I will have to modify the dash panel to fit slightly larger gauges which I hope doesn't turn out to be a big ordeal. I got my new set ordered from here..

wow yea that sucks. I dont know yet the brand until I pull it I guess.
I was just hoping they were all the same.
I wonder if they make you wait 4 weeks with or without it in hand?
I hate to have two holes in my dash for 4 weeks.
I'd buy new ones but I dont want to replace them all right now. mike

If they are Faria, then it may say in small letters somewhere on the front of the gauge. Your boat is newer than mine so you may be able to locate the replacement gauge you need and just buy that one. I was not so lucky. Mine were stock Maxum gauges that came with the boat, but they were produced by Faria Instuments. I'm not sure if all Maxum gauges were/are that way, but you can look at pics online or ebay and probably tell if you see the same designs as the ones you have. Good Luck

why do you say that? My boat is an 03. Do they warrant them that long?
I called the dealer to get a price to replace them. I was told the Tach is 300 bucks and the volt meter is 70 bucks.
That is way pricey

Faria gauges have a lifetime warranty. They will fix them like I said. Bad thing is the down time, but if they are not working now, then there really is no big loss on that. Call them and ask them about it, the volt gauge is a bit cheaper, but they quoated me 30 bucks to fix my tach out of a 1999 maxum 1900sr. Original gauge that came with the boat, looks real similar to the one in the pic, but mine are flushmounts. The one in the pics are the ones I ordered to replace my current set. I was going to send mine to them, but found the complete set at great lakes skipper for 299.00. The sizes were off just a bit so i am cutting some bigger holes in my dash so they will fit. I mainly bought the new set because mine are faded and the lenses scratched a bit,and I wanted to get some new ones that look factory.
Here is the link to the website. If you can pull the gauges out and get the part numbers off of them you can contact them and fillout a return. If you can't find the part number, them you can use the gauge finder on their website to locate it or go through maxumcustomercare and get the faria part number. Easiest way would be to call faria and give them the rundaown on your boat and gauge description. They can probably tell you for sure and get you set up with the warranty info. All the warranty info is on their site, along with the return forms etc..
