A/C Line clog? Trying to winterize the A/C - 2800 SCR

The pump is fine, but wouldn't pump any antifreeze into the line which seems to be clogged. Blew through the line...nothing. Forced water through the line and it came back out at us. Going back to the boat today with someone to check it out. Anyone else have this problem or thoughts on what it could be? Thanks!

Did the AC work this summer? Where did you disconnect the line to connect the hose for antifreeze and water?

I had that problem once...you either have to remove the lines or get some high pressure water or air and try to blow it clear....most probably the lines will have to be removed and cleared with a wire...

We were able to force water through the line on the end that we disconnected from the A/C in the V-berth. So its winterized now. Wondering if this contributed to the a/c problem I had this summer with freezing up and not pushing out cold air. We believe there was a clog, algae or something. Hopefully that was the issue and the a/c will be fine for next summer! Thanks for all who replied!

I thought I had a problem with mine this summer, but after turning it off for awhile it was fine. When winterizing it I used a shop vac to suck out as much water as possible and then sucked the antifreeze in.

I know the A/C will freeze up and cause what is beign described. Either there is no cold air or there is no water circulating. There is most likely causing restrictions cuased by growth in the AC lines. Circulating some barnacle buster through the system should clean it out. I wrote a post a while back on a method to flush teh AC system. I'll go dig it up and post the link here.
