Default 4600 scb

Hi everyone, I need an expert advice, due to black smoke appearing at the aft after each cruise, I have decided to install chrome exhaust outlet to be mounted on hull, curved and to be submerged to water.

My question if it may affect the performance and may suck water, in case reversing the crack (I do not know if possible but yes for cars).

Thanks and Best Regards

I have a 4100scb with twin 370B’s and have the same problem. i perpetually am cleaning the back after trips. After a 6 hour trip last year, it was worst ever. I’ve been thinking about the same chrome collars i see on new boats. send me the link for o what you were looking at. i was planning on using Diesel Kleen fuel additive this spring as the only Cummins approved additive. I’m hoping that helps too.

Thanks for the tip, I have tired several additives but not the one Cummins approved. If I find, I will send a picture of collar.
