Default 2700scr gas strut part number?

2001 2700scr engine hatch struts are dead, does anyone know the specs on em or the replacement part numbers?

Rick ..you measure the length you need and can order them from about any boating website.

They are made universal for installation...yes just need the length to match what you are replacing.

No on the weight..

Ok ...I just went on West Marine website just to double check all this, it's not that hard guys, and it is the extended length and also they are rated for pounds.

So just google "gas struts" and you come up with a boat load of options to figure out what works the best for your project.

Take one off. Measure the extended and compressed lengths. Then you can find them at West Marine or Defender and many other marine chandleries. This is not a Maxum specific product.

You can also find them at auto parts suppliers for cheaper.. This is not a marine specific product either.

Like Phillbo said go to an auto parts store much cheaper. Take it off and bring it with you they can match it up and you might be able to get something a little better.
