Default 2007 2600 se loose steering

Hello everyone,
I have a 2007 Maxum 2600 se. My steering wheel has a loose. I have to continuously adjust the direction of the boat at low speed. The problem seems to come from the front. When I take the loose of my steering wheel one side or the other, the actuator near the engine does not move.
Is it possible that the actuator under the dashboard needs oil and is it possible to fill or adjust it?
Thanks

Sound more like bow wander.. Most boats do it.

That is IF I am understanding your issue. I could be wrong.

You most likely have a rack and pinion steering at the helm. I have seen where the bolts the hold the rack on have come loose resulting in sloppy steering.

I'm having the same issue on my 3300. The wheel turns a bit before any "steering" starts to happen. I believe it is a worn rack and pinion behind the helm. As mmwjr posted the bolts behind the helm were loose but nothing changed after tightening. I don't know if there's any repair or adjustment possible.

This is normal.

I'm not clear what you're describing here.

This is normal. The delay in responsiveness for both steering and throttle increases with size and weight.
