Smile 2000 2700 SCR spot of spongy floor in cabin

Hi everyone!

I am hoping to purchase a beautiful 2000 2700 SCR, clean and in really good shape for a 21 year old boat, but there is a small soft spot in the center of the cabin in front of the galley. Obviously this needs fixed, but since it's not my boat, I can't tear in to see the damage. My question is: Buy the boat but offer some amount less than the selling price for the future repair, or just move on? My husband fell so in love with this boat. It will be our 7th boat and (hopefully) our 2nd Maxum.

Thank you!

Not sure how the boating market is where you are at but right now it's a sellers market most places so while i would normally say offer a lower than asking price you may loose the boat if there are several potential buyers. Would your husband be doing the fix? If so then it's a cheaper repair than paying to have it done.
