Does anybody know what length throttle and shifter cables are used on a 1998 3000scr? Happy New Year to all
Thank you

Is there anything printed on the existing cables? Otherwise tie a pull-line to cables before you pull them out, so when you pull them, you pull in the pull line. You can use the pull line to pull the new cables through. Then take the old cables and either measure them or bring them down to the chandlery to find a replacement.

Thank you for the quick response, do you know if the secure the cables during the manufacturing process or will they come right out.

They are run through cable hangers.

They should run down the chase along the Stbd side behind the gunnel, behind mid cabin, into the Stbd side of the engine compartment.

When I did mine on my old 2800, I removed panels in the mid-cabin on the Stbd side.

Default Good advice!

Rodger that on removing the carpeted panel in the aft cabin for access to the controls/wire chase.
Also well worth it to leave a pull cord for future use here. Will save you lots of time and muscle aches in the future!
