Getting ready to pull the trigger to bring this Hoss back to life. It has the 7.4L engine. What type of fuel mileage will this beast get with this boat?

Welcome aboard

All depends on how you run it but I would suspect it will burn 12-15 gallons per hour

Thanks for the info mmwjr. The engine currently has a Rochester on it but I was thinking of putting a edelbrock 1410 on it. Probably going to need the adapter but clearance should not be a problem since the rear deck lid needs to be replaced anyway. What is your thoughts on this?

Call me Mike

Since the 1410 is a square bore carb you will need a adapter to mate up to the spread bore intake unless you change the intake. I’m not fimilar with this boat so not sure what the clearance is between flame arrestor to engine cover.
