Angry Water leaking into bilge on port side in stern bulkhead

I have water leaking on the port side near stern bulkhead. Has anyone had this issue. This is under the access panel. More water leaks while under way. 98 37 SRC

Just replaced shafts with sure seal. No leaking

Boat model and engine would help.

Are you boating in saltwater or freshwater? That can be helpful in determining where the water is coming. Check through hull fittings. Maxum used nylon throughhull fittings above water, and a 1998 model would be due for replacement.

Is this an IO or inboards? Bravo 3 transom assemblies are known to leak and require replacement, but that wouldn't lead to an increase while underway.

So 3700 with inboards and new shaft seals that you verified are not the source. What about the rudder stuffing box? Can you post a picture of the area you suspect the water is entering?

Thank you all that tried to help. Excluding Phillbo. I located the leak source as my water tank sending unit leaking. No water in bilge loving the shaft seals worth the money. Much better than PSS.

Glad you found the source but don't cut Philbo short it wasn't clear initially what boat and engine package you have. If an I/O the tube for the speedo can break and water can leak into the boat and the flow will increase with speed.

Sorry about the comment but I know that Maxum 37 did not make a I/O boat. I did say that I replaced the shaft seals. I/O's has outdrives. I guess I need to give more details for correct help. Thank you all and happy and safe boating.
