Default New to us 2004 3700SY

Hey there.

A couple months ago we bought a 2004 3700SY that had been wrote off due to rainwater flooding. We got a good price and almost everything works but doing some upgrades.

Moving up from our 24’ Bayliner we wanted a bigger tender that we could run around with and throw on a trailer to hit the lake occasionally. So we got a Highfield 310 classic with a console.

Has anyone mounted a dinghy this size on a 3700? I found a used Hurley H3O+ that can hold up to 725 pounds they say.

From what I understand if the swim grid is sturdy enough (mine apparently has been retrofitted with 2” square steel tubing and has evidence of a seawise system) it seems to be the backing plates are the biggest factor.

Just looking for advice from anyone with a similar setup.

Cheers
