Has anyone made the rear escape hatch open as a window with screen?

We take our window out everyday that its nice. Getting screen made this winter

I don't see any reason you can't convert a 'kicker' window to a hatch, provided you can find or fabricate the appropriate sized hatch.

Kingstonal, do you know what the rough cut dimensions are for the hole?
