Fuel Sensor

I have a SCR3200 and need to change the fuel sensor. It looks like its below my plate for a table. The fuel tank is right under the hatches. I took bolts out but couldn't get the plate up. Any suggestions out there?

The fuel tank sender should be accessible in the engine compartment.

Thanks Mike. When I open the hatch covers the fuel tank is set back some. I have the bench seat with a footrest under then the deck. I have a plate on the deck for a table leg to be installed and that appears to be over the sensor. Is the sensor a flexible shaft where I could try and bend it when I disconnect from the tank? Thanks Tommy O'Hara

Tommy the sender is a round plate with a dropdown arm that has a float on the other end.
