Default Access to built in shore water filter on 4600 SCB?

Hey All,
The Maxum Owners Manual supplement mentions this:
"The water filter, located under the floor cutout in the
aft berth, should be inspected and cleaned often."
I can not find any floor cutout in the aft (Starboard) cabin, or any water filter.
Does anyone have any info on this? My shore water pressure at the dock is good but it's low at the boat faucet, and I'm suspecting this elusive water filter needs cleaning or replacing.
Any advice would be welcome!

I've been all through my 01 4600 and have never seen a water filter. There's a screen of course in the shore hookup connection.

If you have a water pressure issue you might want to check the aerator at the faucet. Sometimes debris gets caught there and reduces flow. Like kenyu73, I’ve been all over my 4600 and the only water filter I’m aware of is the one at the fresh water pump.

I'm not aware of a filter at the Fresh Water pump? I have good water pressure/flow out of the hose from the dock, but when I'm using shore water, the pressure/flow is much lower than from the FW pump on board.

Most fresh water pumps have a small cartridge filter on them.

Oh, you're talking about the wire strainer basket on the pump. Got'cha. Nevertheless, the 4600 manual supplement on page 25 says there's a filter upstream that needs to be cleaned often, and I Can't Find It!

BTW Mike, I saw the 1997 362 in your signature. I also have a 1997 Silverton up on Center Hill Lake in TN, the 372. I LOVE that boat....

GP I just got mine this year and only got two months of use before laying her up for the winter, but in that short time I really fell in love with her. I’m really looking forward to next year and getting more familiar with how to maneuver her.
