Default 4600 cooktop

Wondering if anyone has replaced their electric 3 burner cooktop without having to cut the top? I am having trouble locating a two or three burner top the has the same inside dimensions as the existing.

I wouldn't worry that much about it. I bought a stove that was to wide, and not as deep as the rough cut opening. I bought a piece of colored starboard. I cut it to fit over the hole and have the same amount of reveal beyond the new stove on all four sides. Cut the starboard to rough dimensions for the stove. I then routered the edges of the mounting plate at a 45. Installed the mounting plate with double sided tape. Then installed the stove with doublesided tape.

It's worked perfectly for three seasons.

Thanks so much for your reply. My better half wants, if possible to locate a replacement, so there is very little chance of me damaging the Corian top.

Ian,

That is the exact look I am heading for. I have found a Force 10 that with a little trimming, I believe I can make work. Thanks for the pictures. Just not sure I can show my wife the first one, as she will want me to duplicate your kitchen.

I was asked about the doors in the kitchen, so posting my private message here for everyone’s benefit.

I had doors made up to suit, all the square or flat frontage ones and then I got some laminate of the same type and covered the curved doors under the sink.

I removed the old microwave and installed drawers where it used to be.

As you can then see I installed a st/steel drawer fridge and a new built in microwave combi above it.

Any questions feel free to ask.

You池e welcome, I really liked my 4600 and I did a lot to her. New decks, new covers, new toilets, new kitchen and gallery, new carpets throughout, the list goes on.

Whilst I sold the boat a couple of years ago I知 still happy to offer advice where I can. As you know there are no manuals as such so if people need advice on how to do something, or get access to breather valve for example, I知 happy to help.

Drop me a pm as I知 not on the site as much, I値l reply as soon as I can.

I知 typing this sitting in my new boat in the south of Spain,

Enjoy.

just saw your message, I'll check tomorrow as I can't remember the model number.

Found it, they have gone up in cost. I got a deal at the end of the season so was good value at the time.

Isotherm makes drawer refrigerators and distributes in the US. Happened to notice that all the high end stuff at the NY boat show was equipped with Isotherm.
