Default 2001 4600 Genset looks old, housing rotted?

I'm just about done closing on my 4600, but the Genset looks OLD. Maybe this is how Diesels Gensets look?

Plus the enclosure for it was old, faded and rotted on the bottom... basically junk.

Is this the OEM Genset? It works great, but there's no hours meter on it, no remote start.. just basically a breaker and a chrome toggle shutoff switch.

Looks better than mine on a '99 SCA. Make sure the hoses are in good shape and good water flow. Westerbekee sells replacement kits.
