Default Who is the OEM supplier of the windlass on the 3000 SCR ?

Hi guys and gals,

New to the site but not new to boating.
I'm close to buying a 3000 SCR but it does NOT have a windlass so I'm wanting to know who was the original supplier to Maxum on it ( Anchorlift ? Lewmar ? ) so that I can look into adding one.

Any other recommendations on brand/model ? The Lewmar Pro 1000 has been mentioned a few times on similar sized boats when I do a quick Google search.

Also, is it pre-wired for it ? I read on here that other smaller SCR's were pre-wired for it, but not sure about the 3000.

I know Maxum use to have a Customer Service number that was still active up until a year ago or so, is it still ?

Thanks in advance !

Yes to Lewmar and yes it should be pre-wired and to the website http://www.maxumcustomercare.com/catalogs_index.html

or 1-800-950-3805 or 1-877-819-3747 or 1-360-435-8957.

Hope this helps you.....
