Default what prop size do you have on your 2400 scr and top speed do you get

hi i have a 1994 2400scr with a 5.7lt carb engine with alpha1 drive
and wanted to know what props and sizes do other people use and there top speeds, and crusing speeds ,i get a top speed of 38mph at wot 4900rpm with a 15* 17 pitch prop and a 34mph @4000rpm

intresting..........I have the same boat, same set up and I get 41mph at wot 4400/4500. I also have the stock prop and I believe it is a 17. I get the mph from my garmin as the little hole in the leg always seems to get plugged up. I'll take a look at my prop tonight to make sure it is the stock 17 and get back to you.

27' SCR 5.0LX 14.25 x 15p Cruises at 3500rpm and 25mph, or 4200 34mph top speed.
