Default What Amp Fuse?

Hi all ~

I wanted to stock a few spare fuses but forgot to note the size needed for the auto bilge pumps. I pulled the fuse when I left the boat last time as a reminder but left it on the boat (5 hours away). Does anyone know what size/type fuse is needed for the bilge pumps?

Phillbo, you didn't give much to go on here. What model boat do you have? From the attached picture I am assuming a larger cruiser. Doing a quick look at the manual located on the Home page it looks like 5AMP for the forwad pump and 7.5AMP for the aft pump.

The size of the fuse for the bilge pump is not dictated by the boat, it is dictated by the bilge pump. It shoudl say right on the bilge pump what size fuse it requires.

Shrew you are correct the size of the pump dictates what size of fuse is needed, however knowing the size of he boat one may be able to identify what pump maxum used hense what fuze is required. With phillbo being 5 hours away from his boat he is asking if anyone knew the correct size.
