Default Water on berth

Hi there, I'm a new boat owner, no experience with boats at all. I bought a 1992 Maxum 2300 SCR, and the day after filling the water tank and trying the sink I found a puddle of water on the carpet just between the sink and the bathroom door. I cannot see where the water is coming from, and the rest of the area is dry. I dried it up and put a heater on, but water keeps coming from somewhere. Does anybody have drawings or any other help on how to locate water hoses and water tank? Maybe the discharge line?
Any direction would help. I'm pretty handy but don't know where to start.

Welcome aboard

Did this start after filling the water tank? Just want to confirm the deck hatch is not leaking rain water. Others with this model will chime in.

Thank you Mike. The problem started after filling the tank. The boat is covered with a tarp, and there is no water anywhere else.

Adding some dye to the water tank may help trace the leak. Just make sure it’s a dye that can be clean up easily.

After you filled the tank, did you run the water in any of the faucets? (e.g. galley or Head?).

The water system is pressurized with a pressure pump. If there is a leak in the pressurized portion (water pump to faucet), the water pressure will slowly drop. Once it drops below the threshold, the pressure pump will kick on and re-pressurize the system. Do you hear the pressure pump turn on for a second or two, then shut off every now and then? IF so there is a leak in the pressurized side.

If not, then there may be a leak in the drain. The drain is passive, so unless you are running hundreds of gallons, or the drain is disconnected, it will take a long time to build a sizable leak from the drain.

It looks like if you pull out the fridge, you should have access to the water lines and drain.
