Default Stove Top Cover

My stove has a glass cover over it that is hinged and you flip it up to access the stove. The glue that holds the glass in the hinge has dried out and the glass top has come lose. Does anyone know what type of glue is used to secure this piece?

You can see the glass top I'm talking about in this picture next to the sink.

I would think you could use a 2 part epoxy... just be sure to check on the label to make sure it will stick to glass.

That model of Origo also came with a cutting board cover. You could remove the hinge completely and get the cutting board cover if you wanted to. Otherwise some strong 2 part epoxy would probably be best.

Little bit of imagination goes along way here. Our top is still there but I have velcroed a teak what not tray on top of the glass cover. Keys, toothpicks, and more whatnots have a home.

I like the Corian top, adds extra counterspace/cutting room, great idea.

It is a good idea...kinda $$ but compared to replacement stuff it was a better option for us... I actually just upgraded the salon table with the same stuff....love not having the "crumb" catcher storage thingy in the table!!! Hated that thing!!!

That would be the best route. Any idea where I could order one?
