Default SR2300 Drivers Seat

Was out on the Lake this weekend and got into some pretty rough water. I stood up to access the situation but when I went to sit back down the seat came off the pedestal and fell over. I picked up the seat and put it back post and managed to get back to my dock wobbly and all. Not sure if it is broken or is supposed to do this. It has adjustments for fore and aft and has another lever to allow it to pivot. After looking into it more the lever that allows it to pivot was not going into the hole on the pedestal that locks it in. When I rotated the seat to the point where it locks it is at an angle and not straight. I drilled a hole in the plastic collar at the right position to where it would lock straight. Not sure why or how it would be at an angle. The seat is locked straight now but a little wobble still. Not sure if it can be fixed or if I need to replace it. Anyone dealt with this and can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
