Default SCR2900 interior carpet replacemnent help

Hello I recently purchased a 2001 Maxum SCR 2900. The interior turned out to be a lot much worse than initially thought. The carpet is so worn and old it is not really possible to clean it. So I started to rip out the old to replace it. However, I have found that much of the carpet seems to have been glued and stapled down before the cabinets and fridge, a lot of the trim, and even the stairs were installed. I am looking for any tips/tricks as to how to remove and replace the carpet without completely demolishing the interior. Has anyone done this themselves? i have not had any luck finding a carpet installer who will work on a boat.

The boat is located in Burnham, IL. Sadly it has no trailer so its stuck where it is until April.

You're going to have to cut the perimeter of the carpet with a utility knife. You can lay down luan and use heavy duty exterior construction adhesive to smooth out the floor, then install a vinyl plank floor yourself.
