Default SCR 2900 water leaking in mid cabin

I have a 2001 SCR 2900. When it rains heavy, water comes into the mid cabin on the side of the step down entry to the main cabin. There are no cracks or anything that I can see. Has anyone experienced this? The only thing I can think of is there may be water coming in the starboard side running under the helm and bench seats. I don't see a lot of water coming into the boat, but it doesn't take much. There may be a screw hole or something I need to look at under there? I was going to take the helm and split bench seats off to look. I guess I could walk around with a hose to try and find it before getting drastic.

Thanks for any help and advice!

Bryan

welcome to the zoo.......
most of the time it's the radar arch dripping down or the rub rail....gently remove the rub rail insert and if you see long screws...remove them and rebed them with 4200 silicone sealant..put a bead along the tops of the rivets and screws...and then put another bead along the top and bottom of the rail....re-insert the rubber part using a rubber mallet and gently pound the rubber back into the track...

where the arch mounts to the gunwhales....put a bead along the joint and make it look pretty by using your finger to smooth it out...be generous with the joint....that should be about it...

There is calk where the radar arch meets the gunwhales. I will remove and reapply. I'll redo all the rub rails and see how that does.

Thanks SeaPuppy!
