Default Remove Forward Cabin Wall 2000 scr3000

Hello All,

New to this forum, I was wondering if anyone has removed the forward cabin panel next to the forward bed? I have a very small bit of water coming under the bottom of it. Im thinking it might be a drip from the anchor locker somewhere. Has anyone experienced this/ taken that panel off.

Thanks!!

Welcome aboard!

I have a 01 3000 and I sprayed a whole can of the black rubber stuff in my anchor locker, making sure not to cover the holes for the drain and that helped my moisture problem I had. But to answer your question I don't know but I bet they are screwed in somehow.

If it's the panel with the access hatch to the anchor locker, then it should be an upholstered panel screwed from inside the anchor locker, through the bulkhead and into the back of the upholstered panel. You should be able to open the anchor locker access hatch from inside and see the screw heads from inside.

Thank You! I stuck my head down there yesterday and could see where the speaker bump outs are, of course it was raining. I will wait for it to clear up and get down in there to get that panel off and look for the screw heads. I did notice inside the locker where some fiberglass had some imperfection and I suspect that is the culprit of the water coming in. I am going to clean the locker real good and lay bunch of 3M Marine 4200 on the sides, and then put possibly Flex Seal on the bottom of the hatch from inside the cabin just to make sure I dont get any more water.

Thanks for all the help!
