Default Move Helm seat back?

Hey all,

I have a 99 2300sc and I guess due to my fat posterior I find the helm seat to be too close to the helm even with the seat moved all the way back on the sliding bracket.

Has anyone attempted to move the pedestal mount back a couple inches? Or should I just lose more weight?

Thanks,
C

you would do better to remove the seat, and bolt a steel plate to the chair mount, then remove the whole slide assembly.

would not mess with the deck mounting, because its got supports in the fiberglass, which you could miss....

or, get a slim 21 year old first mate name bubbles to drive for you......

Two solid ideas...

I will probably look into at least 1 of them.

thanks!

Cheers,
