Default Garmin 740s in 2400scr... Where to mount it?!

I just purchased a new Garmin 740s to replace my Garmin 498 on a 2000 2400scr. The problem is it takes up too much room if I mount it where the old gps was. I just installed new gauges and powder coated my gauge panels and don't want to cover them up! Does anyone have pictures or recommendations on where/how to mount it? Thinking about possibly using a RAM Mount to kick it over to port side so it don't cover up the Tach. The first picture(wood grain) is with the old gps.... Second picture is to show off how good they look now!!! Lol. Thank you for any help given.

Diggin welcome aboard and shape looking helm. I have Lorance mounted on a RAM on the Starboard side. Basically same loaction as you old one but on the otherside close to the windshield.

Idon't know how bigger he 740 is but recommend you play around holding it in different spots to see what you like

Thanks Mike, I hate to make more hole than the previous meatball(owner) did in the boat... I'll take some more pictures to show you... Most likely going to mount it in the same position as the old one, i can't seem to sit/stand in my normal position to see if the GPS blocks the tach because the boat is still wrapped. I am taking the Shrinkwrap off next week because I am having a mooring cover made, so I'll get a much better idea then. I'll post pictures of the cover too... So excited for the upcoming season!!!
