Default Calling on other 2800 SCR owners...

I have a a manual flush head, but have a macerator with the 2 switches under the helm. Has hoping to find a person with similar boat with the same system who can educate me on the operation of it. I am Googled out. My Boat is a 1999.

I have a vacu flush that flushes the effluent from the toilet to the tank, but I also have the 2 switch macerator. I believe the macerator is to suck up what's in the black water holding tank, grind it up, and shoot it overboard. That's not legal anywhere in US waters to my knowledge, so I've never used it. My marina has a free pump out - that's how I empty the tank.

trying to understand the process. Where it shoots it out from? And if/where the T of Y lever is to switch from manual to macerator mode

Not sure about the lever thing because I've never had one with a lever, but here's the through hull location for the macerator discharge from the manual ... it's the aft-most upper fitting ("upper" = in-line with the top of the swim platform) on the stb side. This is from a 2000 manual posted in the downloads section of this site, not sure if the 1999 is the same generation.

Head will discharge into the tank. No Y-valve to my knowledge was installed by Maxum.
Macerators use a ‘deadman’ switch design where both momentary switches Need to be held in to turn on the macerator to pump from the tank to the overboard discharge.
A second line from the tank to the deck fitting is plumbed to allow for pump out.

This double switch setup was designed to prevent accidental discharge of waste.
I’ve run into issues with the USCG regarding this setup as most designs use a y-valve that can be secure in a closed position to prevent accidental discharge. After many discussions, and review of the actual statutes, they concluded that the system does meet the requirements needed to prevent accidental discharge due to the deadman style setup.
US allows discharge of untreated waste outside 3mi offshore. All other areas should be assumed to be no-discharge.
