Default boat handling in breezy conditions

Hi, I am new to the forum and relatively new owner of a 2000 25' Maxum cruiser. I previously had a 21 foot Stingray which I operate in tidal rivers. I am planning on taking it on the Chesapeake Bay to Tangier Island this weekend and the forecast now calls for "breezy" conditions. How will a boat like this handle wind conditions like that. thanks

I have a 2400scr and on our lake 15-20mph winds are normal 2-3 foot chop the boat handles just fine .Docking can be tricky go slow .

it really depends alot on winds...current...boat configuration..ie full canvas or not...the canvas acts as a sail and the winds will push you around...so..be aware of that...
as for current..like any boat that is larger..things happen a little slower...be prepared to back out of the docking situation and try again if it's going wrong...have your fenders and lines at the ready....fenders out..lines on the cleats....other than that ..practice practice practice...

and ....never approach the docks faster than your willing to crash into it...

and welcome to the zoo!!...
