Default 3000 SCR Maxum 1999

Hey,

Gonna be shrink wrapping the boat. 9'10 beam. 30ft length, go with 17, or 20ft wise shrinkwrap or? Have a radar arch and I'm just curious what others use for they're similar sized model.

Thanks!

I just ordered my shrink wrap for my 01 3000.it was the 24 x 50 -7 mil white. I wrap a strap around boats water line and works great. Dr Shrink is where I go. Don't forget your vents, tape and door too.

Good luck

Roger

Can shrink wrap be reused multiple times ( probably a dumb question but I live in an area were we do not need to winterize).

I had a friend that could get 2 or 3 uses from his wrap on his 30 footer. Myself, I use new every year....it's easier.

I have a 3300 and use my wrap at least 3 years. Mark the frame when you take it apart so you can rebuild it exactly and untie the wrap. Don't cut it

I go all the way to the waterline. I had a distinct line in the side hull the year I went cheap and only wrapped halfway down.

And yes, you can reuse the wrap but it's a real pain. Since I usually was one of the last hauled, the extra time needed to fiddle with it wasn't worth it. I saved the doors and vent though and retapped them to new wrap. They lasted 4-5 years
