2000 scr2800 twin 4.3s - B2 18 pitch to B3 conversion

Hi all - need to change out drives - and going with b3s - same ratio (2.0) just curious if an 18p on a B2 (Signature / big cow prop 4 blade - its MASSIVE) would equate to an 18 pitch on B3 also at 2.0?

PS i dont need comments on why the conversion isnt a good idea - just keep it on point thanks. I dont want to argue endlessly WHY.. fwiw - B2s are CORRODED. There. done.

I think going to B3’s is a good idea. I can’t answer the proper question but you can try the QuickSilver online prop calculator to see what it recommends or reach out to Mercruiser help and ask them. Another source is Hill Marine.

Called hill marine - recommended sticking with same pitch, they did my B2 counter prop - did use prop selector and nothing came up.

Will go with Solas 18s then I guess.
