If you're referring to the corrugated white hose at the top of the water tank in post #16. That looks like an old style of water hose that I have not seen in many years. If I recall, it is corrugated on the outside to allow it to make tight radius' and smooth walled on the inside.
It should be rated for potable water, however it doesn't hold standing water, so it should have a duty cycle measured in decades. Unless the hose is brittle, I would leave it.
