Port side jump seat - Maxum Boat Owners Club

I'm cleaning and detailing a 2006 1800MX and am looking for info on removing the port side jump seat to properly clean it. Any tips?

welcome to the zoo...how that seat comes out has always been a mystery to me....hopefully one of the guys that knows will chime in......

Give this a try;put the seat backs in the A position, look inside between the seats at the top you should see the hinge that connect the two seatbacks. remove the screws form one side. at this piont you be able to see how bottom ride on the rails. Hope this help

Thanks Col Max, but the seat i"m referring to is the rear port side jump seat. It appears to be screwed in place from the underisde, and a lot of debris along with the remnants of the original protective plastic covering, make it hard to clean. I wanted to take it out and give everything a good scrubbing.
