How much passenger weight do you have on board and have you tried redistributing them around to see if it improves?

Does the boat have trim or smart tabs?

What is the WOT you can achieve? Need to know if propped correctly.

I do not have smart tabs or foil .it helps a little by distribution of weight at 4800 rpms going 49 mph.

If 4800 rpm is the WOT you are propped correctly.

You did not say how many folks you normally have on board but a 1800 is not a big boat so just a few bodies on board and if they sit near the stern will impact the performance. I recommend adding smart tabs.

I do not recommend a foil as I think they provide little help and stress the plate on the drive.

Have you tried moving weight (people, cooler, ..)to the bow to see if that helps?

Trim tabs are worth their weight in gold...IMHO. I would highly recommend getting a set.

Those are symptoms of too much weight distributed aft. Move as much weight forward as possible and run downwind when getting on plane. If you need a hole shot for pulling skiers then consider going to a smaller prop.
