Nauticus Smart Tabs SX

Hi,

I have read many positive reviews of the Nauticus Smart tabs which helps getting the boat up on plane. They look interesting and I might try them myself.

However, I am curious about the quality of the Nauticus Smart Tabs after say +3 years?

Anyone that have had +5 years of experience with them and can share how they hold up or if any parts needs to be replaced after a while?

I have still not decided if i should go for the SS or plastic if I would purchase.

The only issue I could see would be the gas actuator. Replacements are $30.

I ended up installing the plastic smart trim tabs from nauticus and also replaced my 3 blade/21 pitch with a 4 blade/19 pitch.

Happy with the result, my 1800 SR3 mercruiser 3.0 now gets up on plane a lot quicker.

Nice!! Did you notice a change in either max rpm, or max speed at wide open throttle? Adding a blade and decreasing the pitch by two would seem to either wash or maybe favor one way or the other slightly. Adding tabs would aid in time to plane, so it might be hard to determine if the prop had any effect on that.
