Hi All.

Hope all are ok.

Just had my birthday and received a Happy Birthday from the site which has prompted me to just catch up and say that no water time has happened since the last run but...

I have removed, stripped and serviced the trim tilt pump motor as it was noisy due to dry bearings.
While that was out I have made a raised mount for the trim/tilt res and pump to sit on keeping the bracket out of the water that might find it's way in.
Fitted new Front speakers from Bassface.
Finally fitted an interupt switch and reconnected the Kill-cord system.

Now just plottting a trip to the local lake before summer at the seaside.

So, a little update is that I have fitted a new Bilge pump float switch after the one I checked before I fitted the engine gave up and it works a treat!

I know this because after doing some work recently I forgot to replace the coolant drain plugs and had the boat on tick over at the lake about to test my interrupt switch. I was happily at the front of the boat and coiling ropes having nudged away from the dock to deeper water to lower the leg. I couldn't hear the bilge running and was only finally alerted by my wife from the shoreline.

A frantic engine off/Dog house removal/coolant bung fitting followed!

Luckily the bungs were still on the fuel tank where I'd put them despite towing the boat ten miles or so to the lake.

I have bought a bilge alarm!

Also fitted an auxiliary engine Bracket and set of planeing fins. There will be a picture in the usual folder. (link below).

So, just typed a really long and awesome message to you all and it’s simply vanished!
I’ll do it again…
Hi, hope you are all well and have enjoyed a cracking summer on the water.
We have been running in the 5.0 V8 and it sounds absolutely awesome. A couple of three quarter throttle charges and it is a missile! It has developed a small oil leak off the Port head I think but I shall investigate through the winter. Any suggestions for scope attachments for android phones gratefully excepted.
I have had some messages from people and shall be double checking I’ve replied. We play at festivals through the summer so I apologise if I haven’t responded.
I have started a YouTube channel called Vitamin Sea. No world domination plans just me, Mrs Wife and some jobs we have attacked if you are interested.
The Garmin plotter and fish/depth finder is awesome!
The Exhaust Bellow that attaches at the Transom end is just great! A nice sensible “Petrol Head” satisfying rumble can be heard as the boat moves forward whilst Mrs Wife is not offended.
Some replacement Press studs we bought that were “Stainless” are being sent back…studs were, screws weren’t!
Really glad I chose this boat. Super dry when driven correctly, turns well, super stable at anchor and
