Default maxum 2100sc (1991)

Hello,
I am a new boater just getting my sea legs.
I have a 1991 2100sc, but the fuel guage is a bit broken, so it does not register.
Would someone be able to tell me a). what is the fuel tank capacity and b). how hard is it to change the sender, rewire and new fuel guage?
Thanks, I look forward to advice.

Chris...welcome to the zoo....first off..are you sure the sender is broken or the wire connections are just corroded....I'd pull the guage and check the connections ..clean the plugs and reinstall...then go down to the tank and find the sender....check the electrical connections......clean and see if that doesn't help....

Thanks SP,
Did all of that. New guage, checked sender.
I did not personally check the wires from sender to guage. I believe the mechanic did something, but not sure I was away.
I will follow the wires from the sender and see what I find.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris
unfortunately I don't have that data...but you can contact maxum's hot line with your HIN number that is located on the stern/stbd side of the boat...
http://www.maxumownersclub.com/forum...ct-information

contact them and they can send you your owners manual which will have that data....
