Default Gauges

Ok guys, had my Maxum 1800MX for 3 years now with no major problems. However I am starting to have some problems with a few gauges and looking for advice for checking or repairs, before having to pay around £70 per gauge if I want to replace them.

First of my trim gauge is a bit "sticky", if I thump the top of the dash, it will sit in the correct position, but definitely not accurate.

Tachometer has just stopped suddenly. No movement, nothing.

Battery volt meter, works sometimes, but not everytime.

Any help or advice for doing a thorough check would be welcome.

Faria will repair them if you wanted to go that route, of course it could possibly be the sending units or a wire issue
Personally I just replaced mine. if you use Faria gauges again the wire connection will simply go right back on the new guage.
here's the link for their repair cost.

Thanks. I was really looking for some tips to test them, to see if there is a problem with the gauge or not, before sending them away. Thanks

I would first make sure you have clean connections on the back of the gauges as well as the connections to the engine locations for each one.
