Wait, I still have the damned boat out in front of my HOUSE (for another 5 hours---I keep forgetting)! I just measured both the length of the outside poles and inside poles, and mine are 59" and 64-1/2", respectively (the ones closer to the engine are longer). This is taking the measurement from where the "bend" is and the pole goes from round to flat if you know what I mean.

Hope this helps...

Thanks Jeff! Your video was exactly what we were looking for! Sorry I have been a little behind on updating, it's been a busy few weekends with the boat coming out of the water and doing work around the house. We installed the platform, and have done 2 of the poles. We are just waiting on the last longer pole to arrive and then going to install it next weekend when we get back from vacation. Overall, it's turning out really great, SOOO much bigger than expected! For anyone that hasn't done this, I think it is going to be one of the smartest investments we have ever made with the boat! Swimplatforms.com has been nothing but great to work with, and they seem to have a high quality product so far, at a very competitive pricing. Here is a picture without the poles

More to come in the upcoming weeks! Thanks again Jeff for your help with this!

Havamax--- I love it! We actually have a deck and gazebo at our marina, a nice extension as well! Too bad everything is all wrapped up preparing for our cold Midwest winter!

LOL! We are leaving for Aruba tomorrow on vacation, and although there isn't going to be much boating, there will be sun and 88 degrees every day! Then we will probably come back to snow here.... LOL!

I see that you are at Lake Havasu, do you know a 33ft Larson with the name "Kiss my Frannie" there? They were friends of ours here in IL, and moved out there 2 years ago. Not sure how big the lake is, but sometimes it's a small world when it comes to boaters!

Brian........no I have not ........sort of put all that on the back burner since I lost my job last June. The nice thing that happen today is that I might be employed shortly...........Good luck to you and as far I could tell from the websites of these platform companies it would be an easy two person job of attaching the platform to your boat.

Hope to see some pic's of your new platform soon....

Swimplatforms.com Rocks!

I have had so many comments about the fit and finish since installing mine.

I installed one from there as well and i was skeptical with the costs but after doing it was worth every single penny, you never realize how much an extra couple feet matters and i absolutely love it. Wouldn't change it for a second

I have got to get one of these on mine!!! It's a pain when rafting and people trying to cross from boat to boat.

Does this affect the performance at all? It looks good but I was concerned about altering the original specs of the boat. What about access to the drives? Will I still be able to get to my props when lifting the drives in trailer mode?

your center of gravity will move towards the stern a few inches but the performance shouldn't be affected......

I took mine in for service a couple of weeks ago and the techs had no issues while working on the drive.

I ran into another 2900 last week with an extra long stock swim platform. Naturally I was jealous. This could be the answer. Thanks....

Last season, a 31' Sea Ray cruiser installed a swimplatforms.com plank on the back of his boat. This year, two other cruisers followed suit, but with different companies. I believe these are them:

http://www.swim-platform.com/

http://www.swimplatformsuperstore.com/

Can't wait to get funding for our 3200 SCR's extended swim platform. Would make it easier for people to boat hop, less worrying when running the grill and if we get a longer ladder, the drunks will have an easier time getting their butts back into the boat.

I love where your heads at on this one, makes it great foreveryone to walk behind the boats to the other ones as well as the extra long later is so nice to get out of the water and pull your dead weight up after some cold beverages
