Default aft cabin table storage

Thought I'd share this little project for those looking to store their table
1998 maxum 2800 scr.
this is the table that is on the back deck. has a pedestal leg. The leg fits nicely in the aft cabin cabinet. the table is always in the way when we are not using it. I saw someone built a storage area in engine compartment. This also works nicely.
I used the king starboard scraps I had laying around. It fits perfectly in the aft cabin on the port side.
the I.D. needed for the space the tables slides into is 1 1/8". at that measurement the table slides in nicely and just tight enough to keep it from moving around or sliding out.

The 3000's have shelfs built in underneath the forward bed compartment to store your tables.

Myself, I have put my two 30 pound corian tables in the garage for storage. My gas mileage doubled :-)

But nice idea!

Nice. I agree with Diggin the 2400 really lacks in storage. Not sure I will be making any mods at this time as the wife has us on a 2 year plan to move up. She is in love with the early 2000's sea ray 320, hey if it means more time on the water I won't complain

Paul...look underneath your forward bed compartment and the 3000 has it's shelves there.
