They're calling for 16-24" at the house (NH) and 13-20" at the boat (CT). The admiral and I have a trip to North Conway, NH (White Mountains) Sunday to Wed. This is our first Winter vacation in 10 years. We couldn't ask for better weather right before a ski vacation. Probably the first time I can remember where we're getting more excited each time they increase the severity.

I'm out here on Long Island, NY, owner of a 95 3200 SCR. They are calling for 20-30 inches of that white stuff, with winds up to 50 mph.
Two words come to mind that give me peace -> boat insurance.

Shrew, as a big ski fan myself, I know the feeling of having fresh powder waiting for you at your vacation lodge. I use to head out to Summit county to get some of Colorado's finest powder until my knees said no more and I had to throw the old K2's up into the attic to collect dust.

So have fun!

Here it is the last days of February and old man winter still has his nasty cold grips of the Midwest and East. Woke up this morning with a new blanket of snow and more to come this weekend.

Home show at our civic center next weekend that might help...

We had 10 inches last Saturday and about an inch today.

I can feel the season coming though.

We're to the point now that unless we need the snowblower, it's not getting touched. That means anything less than 4" and it's not getting moved. It's March and I'm a patient person. Even here in New England, it won't last more than 1-2 weeks in the first half of March, and not more than 2-3 days in the later weeks of March. Still not seeing much temps above 32f though.

Going down to see how the shrinkwrap has been holding up this weekend.

Well guys it is funny you mentioned all this. The Midwest got hit with an ice storm Tuesday in which that by the days end was rain in the 40's. Now it is back in the teens for highs for a couple more days. But the good news is that starting this weekend highs in the upper 50's with sun that go on into much of next week. Sooo Oh freckin goody!!

So all this stuff that hits us first usually in a couple of days will hit you guys out east and you can figure out where that car is parked... Don't forget to spring forward this sunday!!

Come on Spring
