Sliding Cabin Door Removal
Hi - the lining on the inside of the sliding cabin door on my Maxum 2600 SE has become detached at the enclosed side, preventing the inner fly screen door from sliding independently. The only way to access the lining at the enclosed side is to remove the sliding door and fly screen, but one side of it is inaccessible behind the steering console even in the fully closed position. The top runners are also inaccessible due to the console overhanging it.
Removing the steering console would appear to be the only way to remove the door, but some of the console fasteners can only be accessed by first removing the windscreen. It seems that half of the boat would need to be dismantled!
Does anybody have advice for removing the sliding door and fly screen?
Thanks in advance.
