Default Empty waste tank while dry

Is it possible to empty the waste tank while the boat is on its trailer? Several of the lakes we frequent do not have a pump out station. My boat does not have a macenator.

Absolutely. Many marina's have a portable pump-out device on wheels. Otherwise, see about an RV pump out station and see if they can take care of it. I'd call first. Even if you had a macerator, that is only going to discharge it into the water, which would be illegal on almost all lakes and within 3-12 miles of the coast (depending on location in the US).

Default Waste hose

The RV waste stations around here are unmanned so I would have to show up with everything I need. Don't I need a hose that fits the waste port on the starboard stern? Also, I assume I have to attach a water hose somewhere so the waste will flow out.

IF the RV dumping station is gravity fed, or they rely on a discharge pump on the RV, then that wouldn't work. I honestly don't know much about RV's but assumed the concepts are basically the same. Your holding tank needs to be sucked out. They make a universal connector that you use pressure to hold the pump out to the pump out flange. Otherwise, i believe that you would need a 1 1/2 inch male threaded connector to hook up to your pump out.

RV's use gravity flow. The drain for them is at the lowest point and the plumbing is 3" so it will create it's own suction due to the high flow. You will need to find a marina that has a land based/portable unit that will suck it out. I suppose a wet/dry shop vac might work, but YUCK!!

Wow..I've often thought about this when we were thinkin of trailer boating..one guy many yrs ago...added a fitting to the macerator hull fitting, which a hose attached too and was able to use the macerator to pump the waste to an RV outstation....not the best solution but it seemed to work....

If you come up with a good solution please post it. My clubs pump out was broken when I pulled the boat yesterday. None of the local marinas near my house have the ability to pump out and the nearest place to take it is 2 hours away, one way.

Thinking outside the box a little bit, I made a few calls around my area. I found a septic tank cleaning service that pumps out boats. They will come right to my house and do it for $50. I don't really want to pay $50 for it but I don't want it sitting in there either. I guess its a small price to pay.
