Default dip stick tube broken

I have a bayliner/ inboard mercruiser which has a broken dipstick tube. It has broken where it joins the motor block. Does anyone know an easy way of replacing?

Welcome aboard Gen Raymond!!! I hope someone with more knowledge than I will pipe in. I was under the impression that the dipstick tube is pressed in and that you would need to pull the engine and remove the oil pan in order to replace it. Hopefully someone will tell me I'm an idiot.

If the tube is pressed into the cast iron block like I think it is, and if there isn't enough of the tube to protruding to grab with a pair of pliers, then you are going to need to jamb something thin in between the cast iron hole and the outside of the tube. Doing so should make the tube collapse inward towards the center, thus moving the walls of the tube away slightly from the hole, enough to use a pair of needle nose pliers to grab it and pull it out.
