Default cabin window open or closed when docked?

i'm trying to decide which is better for keeping the cabin dry and mold free.

do you ventlate with windows open and hatchs to let the heat from the day out of the cabin, and the moist air in at night?

or

keep is completely sealed, and use the moisture buckets?

I do run my a/c a few time over night to dry the air....

which is best?

personally if my boat is in the water..I keep the pwr on and the ac going...it keeps the air dry....however if you want to use those dessicants cans...(water absorbers)...I'd do that.....mine is on the hard so I keep a heater going during the nite and since they are thermostatically controlled...I don't set it to anything but about 70 degs.....keeps the interior dry.....I sometimes keep a hatch cracked open..in the summer....

I'd keep them closed. unless you have a way to control moisture. We find that when it's humid or foggy, that moisture seeps in and gets everything in the boat clammy. If you can keep it sealed with AC, great. Otherwise keep it sealed with Damp rid cans. I simply turn on the AC as soon as I arrive, then unload the car while the cabin cools. A negihbor kept his hatches cracked and after one month, there was a lot of mold in the cabin.

I keep a side window open on each side and run a oscillating fan, but in Dallas, Tx we are a little warmer than the northern region and we pretty much boat 11 months out of the year.
