I have a Maxum 2900 (2008 model). The rear boot has an inline latch where a pin enters the latch and holds the boot closed. The latch part has disintegrated. The pic shows the boot open with the pin on the bottom and the hole(latch) on top.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or a suitable alternative from? In Australia would be even better.
Macowl..........you need to call a dealer.......I think that is going to be your easiest way to fix the problem. The boat is new enough that the part should be available with no problem. if this part wears out alot order two of them.
