I still am looking at purchasing one of these boats be cause I like them so much . I have come across 2 now that have had a survey done and said the stringers were soft in one and the bottom of the other was delaminating . My question is, in the 1995 to 2000 has anyone had similar issues. or heard of similarities. still going to buy one just getting myself educated on potential problems. Thank you for any help

I have a 1997 2400SCR and have owned it since 2008 and never had either of the issues you mentioned.

I have a 3000 SCR and no stringer issues either.
Only issue on the hull was some voids around the transom holes which allowed a little deflection/compression around 2 of the the transom assembly bolts.
Easy fix when I had the transom assy’s replaced. Didn’t even know it prior to that.
