Default Water Pump

We have a 1997 Maxum 2300SC and need to replace the water pump.
Our boat did not come with a manual so repairs are always a challenge.
Can anyone tell me where it is located and also if anyone has an idea where we can get a manual?

Thank you!

Welcome aboard!

Are you looking to replace the raw water impeller or the engine circulating pump on the engine? What drive do you have? Manuals can be found under Documents of this site.

Sorry for the confusion . I meant the fresh water pump for the sprayer on back and the sink.

Ok got you, not sure the owners manual had that information. Have you tried tracing the cold water line to see if you can find the pump? Are you certain it’s the pump as it may not be getting power but you’ll need to find the pump to verify.

It should be right up against the water tank or close to it.... It's been years since I owned my 2300SC so I forget it's exact location. I never had to deal with it so probably never knew where it was located.
